Portsmouth Anglican Cathedral Nov'05

Bishop's Cathedra C18 on dais with the arms of the Diocese of Portsmouth behind on a red hanging (1991 Joy Springett & Kathy Chard). The diocese was created in 1927 out of the larger Winchester diocese. The pair of chairs shown used by Archdeacons are replacements (note security wire) for those stolen in 1995.
