The Dedication Ceremony was organised by Kallman Worlwide Incorporated and hosted by the American Battle Monuments Commission at the Brookwood American Military Cemetery. It was arranged by Kallman as a pre-Farnborough Airshow attendee event. The Cemetery is the only resting place in the United Kingdom of Americans who died directly or indirectly as a result of engagement in World War 1 - the Great War.
The Dedication was held on the centenary of the death of Private Philip A Steen, U.S. Army Minnesota 15th July 1918
